You know how some days are dictated by how your morning plays out?

Well...

I was walking back from Walgreens when the wind knocked off a palm tree's dead branch. Said branch HIT ME IN THE SHOULDER!

Things have been nice and quiet on the Banana front.

Yesterday we celebrated a belated Nanaki day with Fuddruckers. Neither of us have been to one in YEARS, and it was just as awesome as we remember. Their bread gets much love from me.

Other than that, I've been rotting my brain on House and Psych. In fact, I think I'll continue with Psych Season 2 right now.

We're out two techs and a dispatcher as of today. That means more hours for me. My aim for a second job is temporarily shot, but more hours = overtime... which means more money for me. :D I can shop for that swimsuit this Monday.

As long as I have Monday off, that is. XD

Also on the shopping list: 2 quarts of motor oil and more screws. And go to the car wash.

So my co-worker wants to be on the reality show "Extreme Makeover". I'm not a huge fan of reality shows at all, but she really wants to be on this one. She's had several hardships in her life, and honestly I think the producers should pick her.

Hell, when she asked me to write a letter... ( I did so )

I went with the "BANANA RAGE!" letter so the producers would consider her and put her on the show. Soon we're gonna tape her mini-bio, so I'll keep you posted on the progress.

Today's bus ride was one of those that makes me crave the scooter.

There's this drunk woman sitting in some guy's lap behind me. The guy was someone she just met on the bus, and she bitched and moaned about getting laid off from her job and her $25 bike being stolen. She said, "fuck it" and went off to get drunk and missed her stop on the route.

So yes, I want my scooter now.

Tonight is going to suck because our manager decided to install something on the computer system, and now I can't access the files necessary to type in the calls, gas receipts, mileage, or basically do my job. And our surveillance cameras are down.

Fuck.

Oh, and aliens have landed on in Southtown. Do not be alarmed as they're only interested in the city's underworld for some reason. And anal probes.

Stuff to do in June:

-Save my monthly $500

-Get my eyes checked

-Go to Pricz to get my Venom tattoo touched up

-Clean the bathroom, and hopefully the living room

-Take Socks in for his annual physical

-Make a trip to the bank (more than once this time)

...I think that covers it.

Praise be to the extra paycheck next month, and with the OT I'll be putting in, it'll be a nice month. :D

The Vegas bus system has given me yet another reason to invest in a car.

Last night, the 202 (Flamingo) didn't show up @ Jones until 11:20pm. I managed to catch the 103 (Decatur) around 11:30 and I made it to work on time.

Tonight, the 202 was on time, and I made it to Decatur around 10:45. The 103 didn't show up until 11:43pm. It was supposed to arrive around 11:10. Because of that I was a little late to work. Granted, it was only two minutes, but the woman I relieved worked a long-ass shift. So I did feel bad, but it wasn't my fault! ::shakes fist at buses:: She barely even spoke to me when I ran in the door. Maybe she was annoyed with me (even though I called and said I was running late), or maybe she was just tired... Who knows?

thefridayfive has to do with photography, something that I kinda suck at, but it's in my blood to enjoy.

So I still have a job at Sunset Coin.

My co-worker wasn't mad at me at all. Instead she was concerned since I wasn't answering my cell and thought I got hit by a car or something. When I got in I explained that I had misunderstood my supervisor and took the wrong day off. My manager and supervisor know and acknowledge that it was a mistake and that I'll be more careful in the future. She fully welcomed the sour gummy worms I bought her as a make-up present. X3

And I bought Easter candy for the rest of the office. Dude, I'm becoming an office jockey. Awesome!

However my impromptu day off wasn't entirely wasted. taiki took me shopping. I got myself a new pair of Adidas Sambas (yay footy shoes!) and a refurbished ecks-bawks (Xbox to everyone else) along with Guilty Gear X2#Reload. Now I'll actually be able to get some practice in, but I noticed I can't pull off Venom's Dark Angel overdrive like I used to. That and I can't get the Neo Geo CD to work in the bedroom. Taiki, help meeee when you drop by Sunday. I need your tech skills to cure my joystick and Neo CD!!

Plus I got me a software kit that will let me design my own CD stickers and jewel case inserts. Tempest, I'm determined to make your DK soundtrack!

For those following the mini-epic that is "All These Things that I've Done", chapter 8 has been posted @ goenitzstardust. Which reminds me, I'm debating on whether or not if I should post the third and final part of the arc. The plot and theory come waaaay out of left field, and I'm almost tempted not to post. At the same time I've devoted a lot of time and beta-ing into it, so it would be a waste to delete it. What do you folks think?

I've been virtually having multiple orgasms over this Guilty Gear boxed set along with the vocal and live CDs. I can officially say that Daisuke is incredibly talented since he covers so many types of rock and metal while keeping it original.

And the lyrics to Venom's theme are amusing and sad at the same time. I'll have to start calling him "snooker boy" more often. That and "Venny". Or "Ven-Man".

Still no word from the job front, but I'm not giving up hope anytime soon. The giant final paycheck from the Hard Rock will aid me considerably.

Today was a total D-Day for me.

I turned in my two weeks notice at work. So no more Hard Rock for me.

I think I'll play some FIFA 2004 before I hit the sack. Stupid sports game making me like it. XD
