I've come to the conclusion that my Venom fic idea has become more of a project. Right now I'm doing the grunt work (ie, outlining, researching, sketching, etc.), and I'll need to save up for a tablet of my very own.

What can I say, I have tablet envy! XD

The time invested will pay off I know, but I'm going to be investing far more than I had originally planned. It's a labor of love of Guilty Gear, really.

Speaking of Guilty Gear, EVO2k6 has announced their dates, so I gotta remember to register. And yes, I already requested my time off, so no more missing the tourney because of work. Taiki, when is a good time to drop by so we can install Slash on my PS2? I really need to practice.

PS - Heather, thanks for the postcard and the mystery gift! :D I'll open the gift when I get home from work, and that pool table was awesome! For a time I wanted to attend Ringling when I lived in Floria, but the tuition price exceeded my then-Office Depot paycheck. XD

Well, you do need to pay for a HDD and a network adapter. But I'll loan/give you my network adapter for now. Other than that, I can swing by and do the install.

How much will the HDD set me back? Maybe we can swing by to pick one up today or tomorrow.

You won't need anything *too* big, maybe 50 or 60 bucks. Depending. Might be able to swing by the used PC place to find a used, but good condition hdd or soemthing.
