So I've found a new pasttime for these long night shifts:

Free Video Poker.

I gamble with fake money and see if I can score big. And it teaches me the rules of the game. Wednesday night I started with roughly 1,000 credits left over from a co-worker's slot game.

I just reached the 10,000 mark.

If only I could do that on a real video poker machine. Then I'd be all set.

I may try it sometime... on a quarter machine of course.
