ERIC, WILL, ED: I'm planning to rent the car on March 12th. When is the best time to pick you guys up (Ed and Will) and when's the best to arrive at your place (Eric)?
I've also been kicking around the idea of doing some baking while I'm up in Austin. I sort of need a kitchen for that sort of thing, so who would like to volunteer a kitchen? And would you prefer a cake, pie, or cookies? :3

It would either be Caesar's death in part II or the end sequence in Stone Ocean. Both had me going "oh, fuck..." and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
2. current job/dream job(or goal)?
Currently I'm a vault cashier and dispatcher at a local slot place, but I just started school again. I'm aiming to be certified as a pastry chef, so I can serve my fellow sugar addicts in the future. :3
3. Would you recommend Claibourn? I've looked at it a little and it seems fun but I'm lazy and sort of busy irl so I'd need a little more motivation to start playing seriously.
I would, because I'm not just a mod, but I'm also a client. *beaten*
Seriously though, it's a fun little RP. We're not super-active, but we're enjoyable nonetheless.
4. Fave fighting game?
I bounce between King of Fighters and Guilty Gear. One that I don't get to play often but I adore? Matrimelee.

Sep. 25th, 2009 01:57 pmToday is my lazy bum day of the week, since it's now technically my only day off. The cold I have worked through my system faster than any previous illness before, despite the mild fever I have. Don't worry. I'm keeping an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get worse. I blame the shifting weather, though it means FALL IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER. I KNOW IT STARTED ON THE 21ST BUT STILL! FALL IN VEGAS = AWESOME.

Writer's Block: Happiest birthday gift

Mine wasn't a birthday gift, per se. It was a tiny birthday get together. Dash no Chris and Tom (one of the first members of the Neo Vegas Crew), met up with me at Gameland for my 26th birthday. Afterward, we went to Macaroni Grill, where I was treated to a homemade Billy Kane cake. It had melted slightly, but the thought and work behind it made me incredibly happy.
To this day it's still one of the best birthday presents ever.
Damn, I'm such a nerd. :D

EVO'wned 2009!
Jul. 20th, 2009 01:17 pmThis year's tournament was AMAZING. It was held at the Rio Hotel (meaning it was easy as hell for me to commute), and attendance was significantly increased from the years before. While the MvC2 hype was not nearly as bad as the year before, the SF IV crowd more than tripled in size. There were well over 1,000 entries in SF IV alone! And all while the fighting was going on, our mini-arcade in the corner was a success!

All in all, I was very happy with the tournament. The Rio was pretty pricey, but the staff was cool, it was convenient for me, and I had a total blast. The only real downside was that I didn't get much use out of my Venom stick. I'll have to change that this coming weekend.

This year, Nanaki and I held up our annual tradition: buying Godiva chocolates for no good reason. For some reason, my parents called and sent me a card. That's... random. They've never done that for me previous V-days, so why now?
Very odd, indeed...
Edit: Just watched the latest Psych episode. That was a million times more entertaining than the Friday the 13th remake I was dragged to Thursday night.

Vizard
1 1/2 oz. Orange Vodka (Grey Goose preferred)
1 1/2 oz. Pomegranate liqueur
Twist of Lemon
Shake first two ingredients with ice and strain into chilled martini glass. Garnish with lemon twist.
