I just saw the new plot at [livejournal.com profile] elegycity and signed Venom up for it. I thought about tossing Josuke in, but I'm not sure how the whole thing would work with his Stand ability. We'll see, though. >:3 I can't wait to explore this plot.

On the subject of le Elegy, I've been considering having my boys learn music. Josuke I can kind of see with some kind of percussion instrument. I'm thinking about giving him a set of drums and let him piss off the neighborhood with them. I seriously doubt he has any natural sense of rhythm, so when he discovers that he just might be able to keep a rhythm going, he's gonna be one happy Joestar.

With Venom, it's proving to be a little more difficult. Y'see, I have a recurring theme with my Venoms: vocal talent. It stems back to Trevor (An AU!Venom in [livejournal.com profile] clairbourn) and his history with choir and performing in talent shows. In [livejournal.com profile] sieben_rpg, Venom had nightingale attributes, giving him a pleasant voice. I'm debating whether or not to continue the vocal tradition and have Venom learn how to sing or go with something new. The only runner I have is Venom learning either piano or cello. Piano because it would be a good foundation instrument and cello... well...

I have fanart of Venom playing the cello. Not quite sure how that came about, but I'll consider it.

As always, any ideas or feedback are welcome. That said, I am going to wait for the Germany vs. Australia match to start.

Taken from my basic cooking text. I'm actually not a huge fan of bell peppers, but I do love me some basil. Enjoy!

Basque-Style Pepper Salad

2lb 6oz Red Bell Peppers
2lb 6oz Green or Yellow Bell Peppers

1pt Olive Oil
4fl oz (8 tbsp) White Wine Vinegar
Salt & Pepper to Taste
2 1/2oz Fresh Basil Leaves, shredded finely

Roast & peel the peppers. Remove the core, seeds, & veins. Cut peppers into 1/2" thick strips.

Combine oil, vinegar, salt, & pepper to make a dressing. Pour over the peppers in a bowl & marinate for at least 2-3 hours.

Just before serving, add the shredded basil & mix with the peppers. If desired, save a few whole leaves for garnish.

16 servings in 6oz portions
