Jul. 11th, 2008 04:14 pmContinuing to the next movie of the 2008 season, I give you Hellboy II: The Golden Army. No spoilers this time around as I'm making this review quick.
The visuals are stunning. Guillermo del Toro pulled out all the creative stops and used a lot of influence from his previous movie Pan's Labyrinth. The action is constant, the story flows well, and plenty of laughs. I need to re-watch the first Hellboy (also directed by del Toro), but so far, I think Hellboy II is much better.
In TV watching, I've gotten into two new shows. One being House (I blame my co-workers on this one) and the other is Little Mosque on the Prairie (Canadian TV is awesome). Both are great ways to kill 30-60 minutes.
