Happy Birthday, Dy! 8D
Think of this ficlet as an epilogue to the RP we're doing. Funny too since today is Vega's given birthday. THANKS CAPCOM!
Morning came too soon. The sun filtered through the blinds and over the occupied bed. Well, it would have if it wasn't snowing outside.
Vega stretched and sat up, sore but oddly elated. Today was his birthday, and he knew he was going to spend it indulging himself. When he looked over to his side, those plans sort of changed.
Next to him was his cousin's friend Charlie, and they... oh. Right. For the first time in his life, Vega was at a loss for words. He definitely didn't regret what happened, and he knew he had to kick the other out of his room. But he didn't quite want to. He slipped back down into bed and curled up to Charlie, enjoying the warmth.
"I'm coming in. Dunno why, but mom insisted that I..."
The loud voice followed with a quick knock and an opening door. There stood Eddie, Vega's cousin, as he just stared into the room. Charlie, who was still asleep, and Vega. Really. Eddie pushed his sunglasses up. "Just... breakfast is ready, you little douche." Yeah, it wasn't "A" material, but it's all he could come up with in his shock.
As soon as he left, Vega let out a low laugh and pecked Charlie on the cheek. It was going to be a great day.
