It says a lot about the German team. I tuned in a little late, so Germany was already up by 1. I figured either it was going to remain 1-0 or Argentina was just waiting to pull out all the stops and kick some ass. I was seriously floored by the German victory.

Then again, I wasn't expecting the Netherlands to beat Brazil, either. :x

I thought Germany had a chance, but certainly going into halftime I expected Argentina to pull ahead. But no, Germany just kept putting it away and shutting them down. I'm glad though. I like the German team.

I think they might just take it all the way this year. This is turning out to be one of the most interesting World Cups in a while.

If Spain plays like they did today then Germany could very well make it to the finals.

They're all rather crazy about the World Cup over there, aren't they.

They really are World Cup crazy. The Netherlands haven't won before and they placed 4th during the '98 World Cup in France.

It sucks that I gotta work all mornings this week. I really want to catch the Germany vs. Spain game.
