The night of the living memage!!

Ah, who cares if I spelled that wrong. XD

So my dad gives me a buzz... at a quarter 'til six. I should enforce my "Do not call Anna at these hours" policy because I do get sick of bring woken up during the daylight hours. He did apologize and wanted to call back, but I was already up. What makes it worse is that someone always calls like five minutes after that, and it's an unknown number. I have a total of four unknown numbers stored in my cell. I'm planning to call them tomorrow (including the mystery 561 Boynton Beach number) to see why the fuck they called me.

Anyway, he's confirmed to come in the night of the 6th and gonna take me shopping on the 7th. All I need is time behind the wheel so I can get my license, but no one's offered to take me. ;__; All I need is a car and a parking lot. Pleeeaaassseeee?

Now for a slew of memes I gathered from the internets today. It includes [livejournal.com profile] thefridayfive's set of questions as well.

You know you’re a fan of something. List your absolute top fandom(s) and explain how you first came across that fandom. Then tag five friends to do the same.

1. X-Men - Probably my first actual fandom. I remember reading the comics back in the day and began mixing in my original characters into the fray. Unfortunately the storylines I liked were 10 years before I got into the comic. Then I began to mix the X-folk in with another fandom...

2. Street Fighter - 1992, the point of no return for me. I was hooked on fighting games for life. I remember owning all my brother's friends with the likes of Ryu and Chun-Li, then I discovered Vega. I used to do X-Men/Street Fighter crossovers circa 1995-1996, and then Capcom stole my idea.

3. Final Fantasy - I played the games since the NES version, but I didn't really get into the fandom until FFVII was released. I was notorious for my minor, if not slightly pioneering, pairings in VII and VIII. Hec and Molly egged on my writing in all its nastiness. :D

4. King of Fighters - Introduced to the scene in '94 but didn't actually start playing until 2000, I was instantly addicted. The plot, complex characters, and music keep me hooked to this day. It also re-introduced the other man/muse in my life: Billy Kane.

5. Guilty Gear - The youngest of my fandoms, it still serves up tons of inspiration. It's a smaller fandom (especially in the US), but I enjoy the cult feel of the game itself. The heavy metal soundtrack reminds me of my old metalhead days (like they ended :p), and for the first time I don't hate any of the characters, not even Ky anymore. I just dislike him now.

I shall tag whoever wants to take it, because you know you want to.

1. What about you makes you unique?

I have to say my imagination, and my evil fighting game skills. Only one other chick has bested me, and I haven't seen her since. It makes me a sad panda at times.

2. What aspect of your physical appearance do you think makes you stick out from the crowd?

I'm a big girl, but I have to go with my tattoos. Two are on my wrists, so they are eye-catching.

3. What do you always have with you while out in public? (for example, earrings, purse, wallet, watch, etc.)

If I'm out doing heavy shopping, then it's my backpack. Otherwise, just my wallet.

4. Is there anything about your body that you think isn't normal?

Not that I'm aware of. If there was I'd see a doctor ASAP.

5. What are you complimented on (looks, smarts, anything) the most? Why do you think that's the case?

Mostly my intelligence and artistic talents. I think it's just because the everyday knowledge people tend to ignore I embrace. I'm higher than average, but I'm no genius or anything. The artistic part is since I was a kid. While I don't think I'm that great, people still compliment me. I'm just glad I have talent left.

All that being said, no, I am not gonna fix your computer.
