So I've decided to hold a livejournal virtual yard sale before my real yard sale. And now that I think about it, I think I'll hold it in August instead of November so I can put some of the cash towards my car. The rest will go into savings for the big move.
Keep an eye on the this space for goodies. :D
To the
thefridayfive about...
1.) What fandom do you center on most?
I stick to the fighting game fandoms, but I used to be a big part of the Final Fantasy VII and VIII fandoms. My current center is Guilty Gear.
2.) Do you contribute to it much (write fanfiction, draw fanart, participate in online communities and discussions)?
Yes, yes, yes, and um, yes.
3.) Do you think that such things are good or harmful to the fandom and why?
I personally think they're beneficial, but I can see why others would consider it a bad thing. There's a lot of crappy stuff out there, and all I'm trying to do is my part in improving the quality of the fandom... sort of. Yes.
4.) Do you think its good or harmful for the original creator?
I've always wondered that myself. It depends on the creator, actually. I know in some of the Guilty Gear mooks there's fanart included in the back, so it can't be a bad thing.
5.) Why do you like this fandom in particular?
It has one of the most intricate storyines I've ever seen for a fighting game. The characters are colorful and likeable, and the music makes my sex fall out.
