Birthday Fics for [livejournal.com profile] kazeraikaku

Since I'm in a writin' mood, here are two fics for T, whose T-Day is today. :3

Poor Cielo didn't even know why he was summoned to this place. It was dreary and quite frankly, depressing. The castle itself almost seemed like it was stained in blood. Why couldn't it be stained in bright paint or have at least some sort of uplifting color scheme? Maybe that way it would look a bit more welcome.

Then again, a monster resided here. The visiting boy could feel it in his veins.

"H-hello?" He called out. "Why'd you bring me here, again?" He remained on guard, not expecting an answer.

Soon, a deep laugh echoed through the hall, and Cielo squeaked. He'd never admit to squeaking. The blood on the wall began to pool on the floor, taking shape in front of the wary visitor. His own form began to change, but then the blood solidified into a violet being. The lord of the castle had finally arrived: Jedah.

"Welcome," The being smiled, caressing the other's cheek. He rather liked the form Cielo was taking. It was so elegant and almost avian. "So you're wondering why I asked for your audience?"

"Y-yeah." Cielo tried to ignore the slight wetness Jedah left on his cheek. He had an idea what the fluid could be...

The demon grinned. He wrapped his arms around his visitor, giving him a soft kiss on the lips. "I'll let you figure that out, my dear monster..."

Larry, er, Laurice sat in front of a blank canvas. The temple was so empty this time of year, and his beloved Iris, the apple of his eye, was going to be away for a very long time. Oh, why did everything have to happen to him! Pearl wasn't even around to share some rotten potatoes with him! He tried lifting his brush, only to put it down again. Oh, wasn't there any inspiration left in this sad, sad soul?

"Pardon me," A soft, female voice spoke. "I was looking for either a sister Iris or... Bikini? That cannot be right."

The artist quickly turned around, not even noticing that he knocked over a tube of paint... or half his brushes. Oh, the sight before him... a lovely woman with VERY long, blonde hair. "U-um, Sister Bikini sh-should be in the main t-temple. This is the... um... courtyard. I'm Lar- I mean LAURICE Deauxnim."

The woman just looked at him, only giving him a small smile. "Millia." Her tone was a little cold, but she then cleared her throat. "Would you mind showing me where the main temple is?"

"WOULD I?!" He almost leaped for joy, putting his palette aside and running right up to the young woman. He offered his arm. He put on his best, and cheesiest, grin. Millia glanced at the arm before taking it in her own. "I think you'll like it here, Milly. It's really awesome and calming and spiritual. Oh, it's inspiring, too. That's why you came, right?"

"I suppose," Millia responded. "Amongst other things."

"Awesome!" Larry kept smiling and walking with her. He started to think about painting her portrait when-

"Once I speak to Sister Bikini, I wish to have some tea. You may join me if you'd like." Millia then flashed him another smile.

OH HELL YES. He nodded happily. Needless to say, more than his inspiration rose that evening...
