Here's this weeks [livejournal.com profile] thefridayfive's questions, as they are random and

1. Did you write a list to Santa when you were little? Do you write a Christmas present wish list now?

I'll admit, I did write out little lists for Santa. And I do try to write out a wish list for my family, but they ignore it because even when I spell it out, no one knows what the hell I'm talking about. If they do, they end up getting me a gift card instead of the actual item. That does remind me, I still need to grab a coat before winter starts.

2. What are the top 10 things on your list this year?

Dude, it's almost October. You think I've thought about what I want for the holidays? I have other things on my mind, though I do want to treat myself to a pre-order of the new Phoenix Wright or Guilty Gear Accent Core.

3. What are the three (or 1, 2, 4, 5) best presents you ever received as a child and why?

1. A long time ago, Hasbro used to make these plush dinosaurs that were able to change into other things by pulling out wings or flipping back their plush fur to reveal a new cloth pattern with a different color. I got a stego-triceotops combo one for my 10th birthday. I sleep with it to this day.

2. Any kind of art supplies are always a welcome gift. My mom once let me go hog wild at one online art store and I got a buttload of supplies.

3. My Little Ponies and lots of them.

4. What are the top 5 movies you think everyone should see and why?

In no particular order as these are just 5 of my many fave movies.

The Blues Brothers - The Anti-Musical Musical.
Galaxy Express 999 - It's easily one of the best anime movies of all time. Memorable characters, a great plot, and Captain Harlock.
The Cannonball Run - Best of the worst films ever made. If it were released today people would be offended by it.
Any James Bond movie before 2000, except for Casino Royale.
Six String Samurai - A sword wielding Buddy Holly in a post-apocalyptic setting. What's not to love?

5. Which comes first, success or happiness? Or, to think of it a different way, does happiness follow success or are you only successful when you acheive happiness? Are they even necessarily related?

I think that depends on the person. Personally, I feel you can achieve happiness without being successful since there are people who are successful, but unhappy. They can be related, but not all the time.

I've been spending my weekends catching up on a few TV shows, and because of it I'm now addicted to Californication, Ugly Betty, and of course, Heroes. And I'm watching old eps of The X-Files and Galaxy Express. All of these come highly recommended. :3

Side note: my Fudge hair dye arrived in the mail! Thank you [livejournal.com profile] pirochan! I'll post pics when I get my hair done.
