This is mainly for Nanaki, but I'm sure the rest of you guys will get a kick out of it.
In the movie Falling Down there's a part where D-Fens (Michael Douglas) is cutting through a crowded park. A homeless guy tries to hit him up for money and tries to tell D-Fens that he hasn't eaten in weeks. Of course what the homeless dude fails to realize is that he has a sandwich in his hand.
Tonight a guy at my bus stop walks up to me and asks if I have a dollar for food. He says he's really hungry and wanted some money get something to eat... nevermind the fact that he was eating cheese crackers and sunflower seeds. I told him that I do have a dollar, but I owe someone money (which is actually the truth. I do owe someone at work a dollar for lunch XD). He just looks at me and walks away.
I usually don't mind giving someone a few coins to maybe get a cup of coffee or something cold to drink as our summer can be brutal, but at least make it convincing. And it makes me want to get a car even more. XD
@ Tempest - I'll see about being on Monday night, schedule permitting. That way we can catch up on stuffs. :D
@ Heather - I got the cellular bill in. Your half is $84. Thanks!
Now back to working... on my Venom fic. Oh yeah, and entering the call log into the computer. lol priorities.
